Will scores improve once you pay one card off?

I have 3, maybe 4 cards I can pay off by the end of summer if I make higher payments and don't miss any. I will have to let my large one sit for a few months in order to do this. If I do manage this, will paying these cards off improve my scores?

Yes, your scores will improve as you pay them off. Just be sure to pay on time every month and do more than one payment if you can. You will notice your numbers going in in a matter of weeks.

As mentioned, they will. You might need to give it some time to see your numbers change. In some cases, you will see your score go up within 7 days of paying off a card while other times, it can take up to 30 days to see any changes.

Yeah they will, some people notice their scores go up over night while others don't see a change for a month or two but they do indeed get better.

Yeah and this can take some time. I know when I paid off a card last year, my scores did not improve for nearly 6 months. When they did, I started getting all kinds of mail to open more lines of credit.

I thought this would be the case for me. I paid off one card nearly 4 months ago and still, my scores are stuck at 600. I am not sure if I am overlooking something or what.
