Are you asking about your bank's credit score/rating? I think I am understanding that right. If so, you can take a look at this: https://pocketsense.com/check-banks-credit-rating-4474851.html
It explains how to find out.
Experian and Equifax are the big two in the United States and in many other countries around the world. They are not free.
I like Credit Sesame. It's a free service which provides just about everything you need to know.
amely: I've been using Equifax but I think I'll cancel my subscription as I really don't use it much. Credit Sesame looks good so I think I'll try that, thanks for the suggestion! p.s. Experian had a large breach not long ago so be wary of them!
@amely A breach!? I didn't even know about this. I am going to have to tell my brother because I know he has used them before. That is not good. Thanks for the info on that!
I am not sure myself but there seems to be enough information to help you out. I never knew that banks had credit ratings. I guess it makes sense, you don't want to just go with any bank if they have a bad history.

The link above shows you how to check and what signs to look out for if your bank is having trouble. I had a bank close on me, without notice. It not only messed up my payments and credit but I was out of money for 2 weeks.

@eliza.stracke
Remember the 2008 recession? My bank closed as well. Could have been part of the same bank line if it happened to you then. I didn't get any notice either and after it all happened, I did a bit of digging and their credit rating was awful!

You can look at ratings and reviews at that site. A lot of people should be doing this. If a bank goes belly up, your money is going with them and you will have to wait sometimes for months to get it back from other lenders.
